9:00 am -10:00 am Session 2: Creation in Six Days (Jay Seegert) “Christians are often fairly united when it comes to the creation vs. evolution controversy.  However, when it comes to the age of the Earth and “creation in six days”, there are differing views and often emotionally-charged debates, primarily because of how misunderstood this topic is.  This presentation clearly demonstrates that even though the age of the Earth is certainly not the most important concept in the Bible, it is a significant issue and can also be discussed in a very gracious, God-honoring manner, allowing the Holy Spirit to be the ultimate arbiter of Truth, as opposed to being forced to rely on “experts” (including the presenter) to tell us what we’re supposed to believe.”

10:00-11:00 am Game Time (hosted by Camp Joy Staff)

11:00 - 12:00 Session 3: Impossible Math: The Trinity (Abigail Roybal) [Videos, Interaction and Discussion Time included]In this interactive session, we will look at the history, controversy, and different expressions of the doctrine of the Trinity.

12:00-1:00 Lunch

1:00-1:45 Session 4: How Do We Know the Bible is the Inspired Word of God (Jay Seegert) “Everything we believe as Christians rests on the assumption that the Bible is actually the inspired, error-free Word of God… but how can we be certain? It’s not politically correct to claim the Bible alone is the inspired Word of God and most Christians cannot adequately defend this belief.  Are we to exercise blind faith, or is there a great body of evidence supporting this crucial point? In addition to discussing the origin of the Bible, this topic presents incredible evidence from history, science and prophecy, showing beyond doubt that the Bible is truly the inspired Word of God!”

2:00-2:45 Session 5: Paradoxes and Christian Unity (Abigail Roybal)Does the Bible contradict itself? Can God’s Sovereignty and Man’s Freewill co-exist? Can God be Just and Merciful? What doctrines do we divide over and how? In this session, we will look at the process of reconciling supposedly opposing truths through a few case studies. Participants should walk away with a high view of Truth and of Love.

3:00-4:00 Session 6: Speaking the Truth in Love (Panel Q+A and Workshop)In this session, the floor is open and questions are welcome! Some questions already submitted include how to have gospel conversations with those who have never heard, how to apply doctrines, and what to divide over. How is the Bible relevant today? How does it relate to world events?
