I love sitting down with God. It is incomprehensible that we have the privilege to open the Word, taught by the Spirit, in order to see the heart of the Father.
I’ve been a student of the Scriptures my whole life. My background is in analytics and writing, so details and etymology make my heart sing. I care about the teeny intricacies of truth, because they reveal the bigger picture: God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son, and the Holy Spirit.
My focus is on women’s and teen ministry. In this season, my burden for the Church is that we would learn and hold fast to what is true while being united in love. I’m grieved both by the compromising of essential doctrines and the petty disagreements we fall into over opinions that we conflate into gospel. My prayer is that we would all find ourselves very close together around the foot of the cross. The closer we all stand to Jesus, the closer we will be to each other.
